The ONA and the movie are kind of connected, it’s new generations between those two eras

and also did you notice the two little kid Umas in the season 2 opening? those are the main characters of season 3, they grow up and have their own races

the ONA and movie have absolutely amazing animation, but everyone also seems to agree that season 2 is the best in the whole series story-wise

I also never noticed that Oguri Cap was in the og series, I had to rewatch the og to find that out

The movie and RTTT are similar to Cinderella Gray and easy to watch since they’re short. Seasons 1 to 3 feel more like a game and are more about enjoying the characters.

I like the main series OP but Cinderella gray OP is too good. Maybe Joe should react to the full song. Recently i think, they did a collaboration music video for Cinderella Gray.

In terms of the actual reality generation, horses focused in season one and two is the oldest, the movie is newer, and season three is the newest. For example teio and special week is pretty old and is already dead, not to mention Rudolf who is even older. The only exception is grass wonder who's 30 years old right now , which basically is over 90 years old in human ages. (gold ship is pretty young BTW). And for the movie most of the horses like orchestra is also dead, except for doto who's 29 years old right now. And for season three, most horses are alive and probably still in the competitive scene.

Except for Cinderella Gray, the movie version and Road To The Top were the best quality and fun. Season 1 and 2 are also good animes for beginners to watch. However, season 3 is trash.

Is season 1 a school drama?
At the time, the management of Uma Musume had no money and it was an experimental work.
But I liked it.

From Season 2, they started to recreate the actual horse races.
It was very well received and helped sell the game.
Season 2 was one of the top 5 great anime I've seen in my lifetime!

The main character in season 3 is Bakushin's grandson!
