PETA vs Umamusume

They brought up the fact that that horse was put down irl because of a severe leg injury. It's true but no one wants to hear about it, especially coming from peta.

PETA is the most unserious organization on the planet.

Even The Onion has more to offer the world than them.

The thing is that they did this to “spread awareness” about the realities of horse racing but uma musume was doing that all by itself, as charities for horses began receiving a lot of money after uma musume became popular, and even allowed the company that makes the game to help with funding and taking care of retired race horses. As for Silence Suzuka’s injury, it was so bad that it guaranteed that she would die a slow painful death, so they did the humane thing.
All peta did was bring negative attention on itself from Japan, which majority in Japan didn’t know of peta’s transgressions, but now have become fully aware. Even the original owner of Silence Suzuka came out and told peta to “rot in hell.” The part of them being able to be sued is because the uma musume’s tos states that you can’t distribute violent, grotesque, or sexual content of the characters. (To protect its relationships with the real life horse owners and JRA).
In short: peta is fucked

They even have an issue with anime girls with horse ears and tails, wait til they discover furries😭😭

Never heard of peta, but now i know that they are evil animal abusers, that steal and kill dogs, euthanize more animals than any other animal shelter and post weird engagement baits

While I understand there's a EULA with the Umamasume characters and they have copyright but how can they get sued for it? Not even Pokemon could sue

I like animals. Maybe one day I’ll get a dog again. I’d like to think taking the dog out for a walk twice a day isn’t asking for much
