I would stay stacking skills that work together or build a flow sequence is important. I like Triumphant Pulse for breaking out for every pace except front runners, who i try and get Master of Curviture or those fight back skills

Inherited ultimates are somewhat low value because they cannot be inherited secondarily. Triumphant pulse is so effective on the track that you don't have to care.

I just looked up the inherited signature skills effects… Yea I'd say if you're better off picking 2 level of soil vs a signature skill.
