There's much misinformation about her personality and what she was like, including an infamous rumor of Goldship being scared of her (Widespread misinformation. Thanks to popular umatubers!)
This is false. Gentildonna was, in reality, quite gentle, and she was seen as very sweet and caring, especially to her children, to whom she was very protective.
This rumor only comes from the fact that she is abnormally muscular and large for a mare, and her jockey had quite an aggressive racing style.

I forget Red Cadeaux (number 6 on saddle cloth) was a Late to End Closer. That was a pretty good run.
Poor guy was a silver collector, including the Melbourne Cup. He got bronze in the Spring Tenno Sho of 2013 behind Fenomeno and Tosen Ra.
